Anyone who follows my Tumblr has already seen these, but in case you don't, this is something I uploaded a while back, after seeing "Just For Sidekicks" and that filly-scout whom nobody can seem to agree on a name for.

Long and short of it; Anon made a suggestion and I ended up drawing a troupe of Fillyscouts who sell cookies. From left to right:

-Do-Si-Do: A spastic worrier from Appleoosa. Good at square-dancing.
-Dulce DeLeche: Youngest of the bunch. Little experience – lots of enthusiasm.
-Savannah Smile: Southern-belle/prima-donna/drama-queen. Second in command.
-Trefoil: The Leader. Go-getter. Got it? Good.
-Berry Munch: Easygoing space-case. Likes cookies.
-Samoa: The quiet thinker with that rare superpower: Common Sense.
-Tag-Along: The Everypony. Our Hero.

Soon to come, possibly: Thin Mint and a Troupe Leader, maybe.

Just saying.

Anyway, Over the Hedge had a parody of Girl Scouts selling cookies door-to-door. There were several satire names listed (Skinny Mints and Neener-Neeners, for example) in dialogue, and the extras show about as many more. If I found those extras and listed them somewhere, would you consider putting together a rival troop?

Watching eagerly.

My sisters were Girl Scouts, and I was a Royal Ranger. Our family has loved camping all our lives; my mom's folks took them all over the Southwest and into Mexico, and my dad's folks spent some time in his childhood in Germany. The cookies are just the beginning.

The furthest I ever got was Bobcats - it's kind of a crappy feeling. I wish I could have done more.

I aged out of the program myself. Never got higher than the rank I aged into. I know that feel.

I think my favourites for the filly scout's name were "Merit Badge" followed by "Smart Cookie", but then there were a LOT of names suggested...!

Anywho: Cute little set! :)

I can see "Merit Badge" as a name for a scout, but they've already had a "Smart Cookie" on the show.

Personally - I just like the sound of "Tag-Along" better.
